Bulk and bagged cacao inspection

Inspection of bulk cacao
When transporting bulk cacao, such as by ship, it’s essential to monitor storage conditions to prevent spoilage or quality degradation. Our surveyors perform detailed Load Compartment Inspections (LCI) on inland vessels, bulk carriers, and other storage facilities in compliance with strict standards. We check for factors such as infestation, cleanliness of the holds, ventilation, and overall suitability, ensuring that the cacao remains in optimal condition throughout the journey.
Inspection of bagged cacao
For bagged cacao, it’s crucial to keep the packaging intact and to conduct precise quantity checks. Since cacao is sometimes stored for extended periods, weight is carefully monitored.
